Hello Torsten, Werder Bremen remained unbeaten in February but January on the other hand didn't look so rosy. Have you now definitively returned to the road to success?
Torsten Frings: "It would appear as though we have drawn the right conclusions but we can't afford to rely on that. We are well aware that we must now really start notching up the points if we are to achieve our goals."
Just as last year, you are still in the running in three different competitions. What can we expect from Werder this season?
Torsten Frings: "We got to two finals last season and we of course want to repeat that feat. That's a tall order but you have to aspire to that if you want to achieve anything! The target in the Bundesliga with our young side is to secure an international qualifying position."
Both teams are on good runs at the moment. What sort of game can the fans expect to be treated to at the Weser Stadium?
Torsten Frings: "We don't know how VfB will approach the game but Werder are at home and we have the fans behind us. We have no reason to change our style. We want to play successful, attacking football."
